Maybe it's just me, but...

This community is usually full with very positive entries and ideas, but I think that lately it's gotten a little strange. I don't mean to offend anyone, and I'm open for disucssion, but I think it's really important to look at the big picture when it comes to Christianity, and to realize that things we feel are wrong may stem from something we don't understand.

I don't agree with Satanists, and I don't think the Star Wars movies are perfect, but Jesus taught us to love each other and treat each other as brothers and sisters. That is the big picture.

There is a general battle against sin, but I believe it's mostly against the sin inside ourselves. I mean, how do you fight a "war" against something, if you are full of it yourself? None of us can escape it, and some are more lost than others. The best way to preach God's Word is not to trick or force people into Christianity, but to live the life and educate them when they realize you have something they don't.

I'm not so good at articulating myself, lol. But, I have a great book for you all to read! It's called Blue Like Jazz by Don Miller. It's about a man and his spiritual journey, and it's very intimate and honest. No creepy, pushy stuff. I think if I wanted to explain why I believed what I did, and how I believe it, to someone who doesn't, I'd give them that book.

I hope you are all doing well! Peace ^_^
